Definitive List of Butterbeer Rankings

Rachel Turner

If you are a Harry Potter fan you know that one of the main reasons to visit Universal Studios is to try the Butterbeer. Did you know that there are SIX different types of Butterbeer that you can try? If you don't have the money (or the sweet tooth) for all six, use this list to help you choose which one to try. Trust us, we know stuff.

6. Cold Butterbeer

Classic, cold, tastes like cream soda. Good, but nothing to write home about. There are better options... 5 of them to be exact.

Where to find it: Leaky Cauldron, The Hopping Pot, The Fountain of Fair Fortune, Three Broomsticks, Hog's Head, Street Carts

5. Butterbeer Fudge

Butterbeer Fudge is a sweet treat that is perfect to wrap up and take back home with you.

Where to find it: Sugarplum's Sweetshop, Honeydukes

4. Frozen Butterbeer

If it is hot, choose this one. Frozen butterbeer is exponentially better than cold butterbeer. I don't know why, it just is. Trust me.

Where to find it: Leaky Cauldron, The Hopping Pot, The Fountain of Fair Fortune, Three Broomsticks, Hog's Head, Street Carts

3. Hot Butterbeer

Hot Butterbeer tastes like a sweet little hug in a cup. Unfortunately, Florida is pretty hot most of the time so the hot butterbeer may not always seem appetizing. But it... is so... good.

Where to find it: Leaky Cauldron, Three Broomsticks

2. Potted Butterbeer Cream

Find this dessert inside the Leaky Cauldron. Potted butterbeer in a pudding like dessert that has the perfect amount of sweetness.

Where to find it: Leaky Cauldron, Three Broomsticks

1. Butterbeer Ice Cream

As someone who is not a fan of ice cream, it is a BIG deal that I am putting this at #1. This ice cream has a cult following and for good reason.

Where to find it: Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, The Hopping Pot, Three Broomsticks

Tip: Head to the Hopping Pot for a shorter line than waiting at Florean Fortescue's which is notorious for their extremely long lines.
